Default Duplicate Message Posting

Hi

I have a problem with our ticket messages. When someone raises a ticket and one of our staff respond 15 minutes or so later a duplicate message is posted on the ticket.

For example, we raised a ticket today 11:18 on a customers behalf. Replied 11:20 then at 11:48 a direct copy of our 11:20 reply we copied in

I've had a look around the settings and cannot see anything that could cause it, though im likely missing something. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance

Default Duplicate email problems

Hi I have the same problem, almost every ten minutes or so I run a resfresh and get duplicate tickets...any idaes here guys?

Default Not deleting emails

I have done some looking around and I have noticed that the emails are not been deleted from the server....

Default Also getting duplicates - but sporadically

We've also been getting sporadic duplicate tickets coming in. (using SMTP POP3) We're going on our second week of live/testing. We've got about 200 tickets so far and so far received 5 duplicates (with different ticket #).

We are not deleting emails off the server because we are in live/test mode. We continue to get the emails in Outlook to confirm osTickets worthiness.

We also run our own email server, so I have access to the server logs and have reviewed the logs to determine if the mail was received twice. They've all only been received once, and Outlook only received them once.

Additionally, we've received one ticket where the attachment (.jpg) was not fetched by osTicket. We have attachments turned on with all image file types, and have only missed this one so far. I even saved the attachment from Outlook, created a new email with the file attached, and we received it in osTicket. ???

Anybody else having sporadic issues???

I don't get dupe tickets, but then I also do not leave mail on the server. I'm betting that is your culprit.

Guys! We may give up!
Several, EVERYBODY are happing this same problem, but developers WON'T to fix that... i think they DONT know how to fix and they disguise...

osTicket is a poor system, several bugs, bad support and comunity....

Does anyone knows another script like that?
