New ticket creation issue

Since my recent upgrade to v1.6 ST, my clients are receiving an email piping error response via email, when attempting to submit a new ticket via email.

I tested the system myself and received the following error message when submitting new tickets via email.

Quote:
The following text was generated during the delivery attempt:

------ pipe to |/home/XXXXX/public_html/yourwebtechteam.com/client-support/api/pipe.php
generated by tickets@yourwebtechteam.com ------

<br />
<b>Warning</b>: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent in <b>/home/XXXXX/public_html/yourwebtechteam.com/client-support/main.inc.php</b> on line <b>48</b><br />
<br />
<b>Warning</b>: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/XXXXX/public_html/yourwebtechteam.com/client-support/main.inc.php:48) in <b>/home/XXXXX/public_html/yourwebtechteam.com/client-support/main.inc.php</b> on line <b>48</b><br />

------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------
The ticket is actually posting to the ticket system, when sent via email. I even tested replying to my notice of the new ticket and sending an attachment. It updated the ticket thread and worked fine. However, I still received the above error message.

I did not receive this notice when I posted a new ticket via the web interface; however, clients have also been reporting different issues with ticket submission via the web. Some were getting errors messages that all form fields were not filled in - when they actually were.

I searched the forums for a solution and could not find one.

Thanks
