DB Error #1064

Every so often, I receive the following error via email.

Code:
Subject: DB Error #1064

[DELETE  FROM ost_syslog WHERE TIMESTAMPDIFF(MONTH,created,NOW())>=12]

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(MONTH,created,NOW())>=12' at line 1
I used the installer to setup osTicket.

While I have not begun to actively use it with clients, I have been doing a bit of internal testing for our needs.

Note that I am not using the email system for creating new tickets.

Any ideas?

TIMESTAMPDIFF is a MySQL 5 feature! I've since updated the latest release to fix the issue including other bugs. Please download the latest version again and replace all files with the exception of setup directory and include/settings.php

Could you provide me with a listing of places the changes need to be made? We have customized our install in several areas. If I just upload the new files, I am afraid I may break the changes we have made via mods.

Thanks

I get the same DB #1064 error with a different issue:

[DELETE FROM ost_ticket WHERE ticket_id=]

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 71.1.94.130

any help would be appreciated...It would shameful that I have
to hire someone else to fix this, when the coder can not.

I know this product is free, but worthless with poor
coding issues...

@dscurlock - I'm not even sure what version of osTicket are you having problems with - just because the error code is #1064 doesn't means it's the same issue. In fact it's not related to the time stamp bug at all.

If you find osTicket worthless why don't you switch to something else then?

Don't let someone like dscurlock get you down, peter, I use osTicket 1.6 RC5 and it's great! Love it.

Thanks,

Quite so smittyline, this helpdesk system is brilliant - far better than ones I have used & paid large chunks of money for in the past. Now working in a school, I have close to no budget, but I have been amazed as to how good open source can get.

Another fantastic example of people being unhelpful..
imagine being told to use another product , if you have a slight issue..
That's the way to encourage users..

I am ashamed for him, typical forum response.. tut tut. !
