It would be helpful if osticket.com could provide various website buttons to choose from to link to the help desk page directly from my website homepage. Is this possible?

Then just find a button designer (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=free%20online%20button%20designer)
Move the image file they give you to the same folder as the page you want the button on and rename it yourimage.jpg.
