Version Detection

Hello Peter, and thank-you for all your work.

I had run across OSTicket over a year ago, and installed it and liked it.

My problem is..<sigh> a couple of things.

1) I forgot my password...<haha>

2) When I pop it open, it says :
Copyright © 2003-2004 osTicket.com, All Rights Reserved.

In config.php says: 2003

I search the whole dir for term "version" and got 3 files, the above.. and
class.ticket.php & fantversion.php

fantversion is > $version = '1.3.1' ;

Is that the version of OSTicket I have? As I would to upgrade, but being so long ago...not sure what steps I need to take.

Hi Jim,

Why do you want to upgrade? It seems you are not using osTicket (since you don't know the password).

Please consider just doing a fresh install. That way you can also choose a new password ;)

Because I had already customized my template...leaving all references to OSTicket etc......and had a few tickets in there...don't really have the time to do it all over again at the moment...

PS..Thx for moving the post...but I had seen others posting there currently about the release... and I saw a few things about different steps for upgrading...from different versions..therefore, my question on WHat version I have, which wasn't answered
