How to use cron jobs??? Plz help!

Hello all,
I've tried several times to install OSTICKET and I'm using correctly the email fetching via staff activities.

Unfortunately, even browsing all the docs through the forum, I'm unable to set correctly the cron jobs :mad:

Please can anyone indicate me an easy post that can be followed and that may get me out of this? :eek: :confused:
