I don´t really know if it´s the right path:

*/5 * * * * nobody /path/to/php /path/to/api/crop.php

Shouldn´t it be:

*/5 * * * * nobody /path/to/php /path/to/api/cron.php ?

crop.php doesn't exist, so I would think so.
