View Full Version : 'My Tickets' numbering does not decrement properly

There is a bug with the 'My Tickets (#)' link

It does not decrement properly.

It shows I have more tickets than I have
(this is logged in as a staff person)

So my tickets and my staff's tickets are not showing
the correct number of tickets that are open.

Is there a fix for this?

It's currenly showing I have 2 tickets, but when I click
through, I don't have any.

Please help.

Can you please confirm that you have access (primary + group) to the department the two tickets belongs to?

I don't understand your question.

Where in the admin panel would I set this?

I looked and I don't understant where I would set primary + group

See the screen shot. It says there are 2, but you can see there are none.

This also happens when I have 4 tickets, but it says I have 5 tickets.
Etc.

My guess is the user (admin-support) doesn't have access to the department(s) tickets are in due to access change after assignment. i.e user's department (primary dept) or group permission (depts) changed and assigned tickets failed to clear.

In so many words that is what I was trying to confirm! Either way it is a bug! :confused:

The user does have access to all the departments.

the way we work is a ticket comes in, and then a rep assigns it to one of our team members.

All the team members seem to have problems with it decrementing properly.

Just let me know when you find a solution...

I believe our ticket numbering problem may have to do
with re-assigning tickets.

the way we work is that a ticket comes in, then one rep
assigns it to another.

then the other rep many assign it to a third.
and the ticket can go back and forth a few times until
it's closed.

I hope this helps in finding the bug.
