View Full Version : Ticket created, mail delivery failure

Hi,

I have 2 bugs and I think they are related.

Note: I've already made the vavaion change [onvacation is misspelled in include/class.ticket.php]

So, when I submit a new ticket, it gets created in the system and alerts@mydomain gets notified and that works fine. Great.

The bugs:

1: None of the department members are notified, only alerts@
2: I get a bounce from my mail server saying 'Local delivery failed'. I run the server this is on, so I had a look in my mail logs and I got this:

------
Child process of virtual_address_pipe transport returned 255 (could mean shell command ended by signal 127 (unrecognized signal number)) from command: /usr/home/suite210/public_html/support/api/pipe.php
------

Sooo, my only guess is that the section of code that sends out department mails is screwed somehow. The issue is, I don't know where PHP would log to, if it's being executed by the mail server. No errors show up in the mail logs, and nothing in /var/log/messages or apache error log..

Idea's?

Thanks.

I'm having this same problem after upgrading to RC2 and turning on 'email department members' for new tickets, replies etc

Kind regards,
Ebonhand

This problem is fixed in RC3 - I've applied the patch supplied by Peter to me via PM, and it's all-clear

RC3 should be out shortly, so consider this one solved.
