Ticket lock

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a MOD that handles ticket locking a bit differently. In a perfect world:

When a ticket is being viewed by someone it gets locked and "disappears from the list of available tickets.

The ticket gets locked while it is being viewed, and if by chance someone opens the ticket an error message pops up that says the ticket is being edited by someone else.

As soon as the person who is viewing the ticket exits the ticket it releases it back to the "pool" for it to be viewed by anyone else.

Can this be done? Does it already exist?

Assigning tickets is probably what works best for this situation. Just be adamant about assigning the tickets.

In this case instead of hiding locked tickets you can view "My Tickets."

I agree though, the locking is not as useful as it should be.

This is indeed something that would be handy. But as far as I know, this has not been done yet. But of course it is possible, so perhaps it's something you can create and share with the community.
