check box append on post reply

Hi all

Can't find What the check box append on post reply do.

i checked it unchecked it with attachement no attachement with canned response no canned response.....same things.

Please what the check box append do

  • Osticket 1.8.1 the checkbox append is located on post reply tab .it was present on all 1.8.x version of osticket
  • Ah you mean the [ ] Append check box on the staff side in the view ticket screen on the Post Reply tab.

    On my installation, if I write a paragraph and I click on the canned response drop down and select an item.  It will append the text from the canned response at cursor location.

    If I uncheck "Append" and select a canned response.  It over writes the content of the text box.
