Thanks ramrajone. The IP doesn't seem to make a difference, and I was already using the FQDN. I am currently using JumpCloud's LDAP-as-a-Service for my LDAP server. I contacted their support and they stated that there has been no authentication attempts from my client users. I have noticed one other item not fully working. When I go to add a user, and the dropdown pops up showing my 'remote' ldap users, clicking on them doesn't do anything. I assume the expected behavior should be for it to populate the user fields for me, but it does not.
I did see a post of someone who thought perhaps long DN's could somehow cause a problem? The JumpCloud LDAP service uses a long API key in the DN. Any idea if there is a length restriction?
