Fetch email not working


All of a sudden our Fetch Email stopped working.   We are getting the error Can not authenticate to IMAP server: [CLOSED] IMAP connection broken (authenticate)

When I contacted the mail server company, they say that their servers are working correctly and have tested the email that we are using to fetch. Being told everything on their end is okay.

How can I fix this?

    Mail Box Protocol - IMAP + SSL                 — Select protocol —                 IMAP + SSL                 IMAP                 POP + SSL                 POP   
    Fetch Frequency - 5 minutes minute
    Emails Per Fetch - 10
    Fetched Emails - Delete emails

  • You really should not be using an RC in production.

    That being said if it was working, and suddenly stopped then it stands to reason that either:
    the hosting company updated something on the web server (php, mod_security rules, etc)
    the email host has changed something on their end.
