Is Osticket dead?

Hi guys.

We are in 1.10 version since 2016? there is no more updates or movement on this forum/github.

Do you migrate to another support ticket system? only pay version have upgrades ?

  • Well, this forum is for the 1.9 version, so I'd say that's a bit dead.
    Development has slowed a bit, I think they lost some people, Wouldn't assume it's dead. Version 1.11 will be out soon.

    I'm not sure what you consider "movement", but there have been quite a few Pull Requests, bug fixes on github, and here on the forums.

    A: You should make the decision for your organization based on your needs and expectation.  No one can tell you what is right for you and your organization.

    A: Support System usually gets updates first, but then I dont know what it is you are trying to ask.

    i made some translation last year when version 1.10 was comming up. I never see another version going on.

    not sure what you consider "movement", but there have been quite a few
    Pull Requests, bug fixes on github, and here on the forums.

    I see a few pull requests, bugs fixes but not much as before when we have Osticket 1.7 or 1.8

    I wanna stay with osticket. This is not a question with a bad purposse. I only ask about the proyect and the news on this. Is very steady at this time and i don't like this.

    Maybe premium version still on development and the other version does not have anymore.


    I really like osticket. This was the first proyect where i help to translate some texts to spanish and i really like it.
