    the problem continue.
  • Part of the error is missing from your screen shot.

Failed to connect to ssl:\\smtp..gmail.com:587 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: php_network_Ge

What is the rest of the error?
  • Failed to connect to ssl:\\smtp.gmail.com:587 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known (code: -1, response: )]
    thanks
  • Just a stupid question - is your DNS working? :)
  • Can you ping the address from your webserver?

    Is your DNS working correctly?
This "getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known" makes it sound like your computer cannot resolve DNS for the server name.
  • i tested on same different networks, on my work and on my house (open internet).

    Same error...

    ping to my server?

    or ping to?

    thanks
  • Can you ping the mail server address from your webserver?
  • ntozier, i can login on my osticket server: http://itsolmx.sytes.net/and ping to?
