Q: I'm using OsTicket for LAN HelpDesk and usually I use TeamViewer (Lan only) to solve problems.I'm
looking a mod to add "ip_address's Client" (eg. 192.168.2.56) to "New
Ticket Alerts" sent to the IT staff so they can fast connect to the
client when I receive the alert by email.A: There is no way to email the IP address. You could alter the source code to do this, but you would need to know PHP to do it.Q: Other mod I need....is the possibility to see on "Tickets Staff View" a
Ip_address column of each ticket...for the same reason above. A: This thread discusses adding columns to the ticket list for multiple versions:http://forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//a-better-ticket-listQ: Is there a way, for client on web interface, to use only the ticket number to see the status but disabling the modify on it?A: No.Q: Other question...I have 2/3 people who use the same pc, with same email
address but when they open a ticket, I receive always the name of the
first person who opened a ticket with that email. I need to receive, by
email, always Name and Surname inserted on the "New Ticket Form" and not
the name saved on SQL.To understand...I don't want OsTicket link the client's name with the email address.A: The amount of code changes that you would have to achieve to do this would be daunting... It would be easier if you simply used 1 account per person like it's intended. Sharing accounts is bad no matter what the application/system.
