    @NilsHolgerson @amitsolanki22

Developing themes for osticket is a little complicated, because you have to change and overwrite core files. If you wan't to integrate some other mods or doing an update it becomes complicated.

Now we have a solution for you: We have integrated vqmod in osticket 1.9.12 and 1.10. . Vqmod is a override engine, that allows you to modify core files via external files. This system is approved over years in opencart, a open source ecommerce system. We are developing extensions and mods for this shop system, too.

Here's is the link to the original vqmod on github:
    https://github.com/vqmod/vqmod

Here's is the link to the wiki with some examples how to use vqmod:
    https://github.com/vqmod/vqmod/wiki/Examples

If you like to disable or deinstall an extension or theme, you have only to add a additional character to the file extension or delete the file. From now it's more easier to develop and test for osticket. We have tested the integration now since two weeks and solved some minor issues. All themes and mods, developed by us, will be now integrated with vqmod.

We will keep you informed and are working hard to get all the new things online!

  • Waiting eagerly.. any updates ?

    Thanks & Regards
  • I'm also looking forward to this one!

i am eagerly waiting for this, checking almost daily if any update...
  • First of all thanks for the great work! I just installed your theme and looks great.
After installed your theme I also Installed the Brazilian Portuguese language from OS Ticket. but for some reason it this not show the flag in the home screen. do you know where I can find the proper image, and make it appear?
  • Well I found the problem, basically the name of the language package. I had missed your information on the den sit. now it is working

  • Hi @DMTGMBH

Is there any news on this Template? the Client side is Great!
  • @dannyc_ad: We focussed on building a new theme base which allows us to integrate bootstrap in content. Additionally a lot of missed features are implemented, too. Here you can see the new frontend themes live:

    http://demo.osticket.direktmarketingtool.de/1.9.13.001/
    http://demo.osticket.direktmarketingtool.de/1.9.13.002/

Read the information pages and you can get an impression, what we have done.

With this themes we implemented in the backend the ability to write bootstrap code in the editor, use some "forbidden" tags and something more. Last week we have finalized the implementation of an override system, which allows us to do "virtual" changes on the core files without affecting the original code. At the moment we are starting to rebuild the complete backend, not only to make the backend responsive, the aim is to improve the user interface and user experience.
  • hi when this back end theme will be ok for dowload free ?
