No matter how many times we ask our users to attach txt files to the ticket instead of pasting it into the body they dont listen. Is there a way to set the limit of characters?
No unfortunately this is currently not possible / not a osTicket feature, but since the developers are working on ticket options / details to be improved I'm almost sure this will be possible with a coming version (no ETA).

Currently it is not possible to restrict the limit on the issue details.
i did by customize the redactor editor..
