I would like to reopen this as it was closed prematurely (http://forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//cannot-delete-organisation)I cannot delete organisationsIt was flagged that my server needs to support the DELETE method - but it does.I CAN delete users, just not organisations.Any help would be appreciated...
Can you provide more info about your osTicket instance so we can better assist you?http://forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//please-read-before-requesting-assistance#latestBeside, did you check your php log for errors?

And did you do what Jared said at: https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/1810
It's not IIS From above:Web Server Software Apache/2.4.9 (Unix)
I don't have a problem under IIS on 1.9.5.1 personally. (yes I know your running 1.9.6)Do you get the confirmation pop up when you try to delete it?(what are you seeing)
I get this forever...
Gonna test the new version...
Ah ha!The new version kinda worked! If I list the organizations, then tick the one I wish to delete, then use the More >> Delete option it goes :)If I open the organization, then try to delete it from there, it doesn't.Now I'm really confused!!
Your web server doesn't have DELETE method (HTTP verb) enabled. Org delete and a few other methods use it instead of POST request.
YES IT DOES!I CAN delete the organizations if I use the method above - if I go in to the organization and click the delete button there then it doesn't work. Please dont close this thread like last time - THIS IS STILL AN ISSUE...
@[deleted] -- you're mistaken -- the two delete methods are not the same. The ajax based delete button uses DELETE verb, which is not enabled on your web server. Trust me, I'm not making this up -- I know the code better than you do.
I have spoken to my hosting company and they have confirmed that the DELETE method is activated.I'll ask again just to be thorough...Update"Thank you for your patience, as explained previously DELETE is one of the main syntax of MYsql this is currently enabled and supported."
He's not talking about MySQL. He's talking about Apache (HTTP).Your update from your host is not talking about the right thing.
Re-asking the ISP...
ISP trying to recreate the issue...
My ISP have reported that now they know what method you are using to delete the organizations - "the delete method cannot be used on our servers"! FFS !I guess the 'other' method works so I'll use that :)Please close this as it's not OSTicket at fault here...SORRY!!Thanks for your patience
