I am a new user of osTicket. I recently completed my installation, everything seemed fairly straight forward and I followed the additional instructions on the wiki pages.
I am using cPanel Version 11.23.3-RELEASE on a dedicated private server. I assumed I should try to use the Local Piping option for collecting email so I configured everything as described in the wiki pages (i.e. creating a fowarding rule from my support email address to "|/usr/bin/php -q /path/to/api/pipe.php") however the osTicket application fails to receive emails. No matter how many test emails I send, the application doesn't receive them.
The application is installed in my www/support/ directory, and I have enabled the pipe.php file to have permissions of 764.
Can you give me any advice on why this isn't working? I have followed your instructions very carefully, so I don't know what else to try.
