There are two storage plugin available to change the storage location of attachments for osTicket.
They are:
Filesystem, which changes osTicket back to pre-1.7 and uses the local disk to store attachments.
Amazon S3, which utilizes the Amazon S3 online cloud storage service to store attachments.
You can of course migrate between the options should you change your mind later.
As a side note there are also two Authentication plugins available there also (LDAP and HTTP Pass Through) but that seems a little off topic. :)
