Hi All,
I know there are lots of questions being asked regarding emails and I have trawled through but still cant seem to get it to work. I will try and give as much detail as possible, here goes.
Running Apache on debain, I have setup my crontab with the following line */5 * * * * nobody /etc/php5/apache2 /home/user/mysite.com/public_html/api/cron.php
I tried running apt-get install php5-imap but its already installed, I added a line to the bottom of /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini extension=imap.so as I read that sometimes helps.
I read the following but did quite know what to do
Make sure IMAP extension is installed and enabled on CLI php - For some php installations command line php (used by cron) uses different php.ini file.
Alternatively you can use the following cron entries.
Code:
*/5 * * * * nobody wget -q -O /dev/null --user-agent=APIKEYHERE http://yourdomain.com/osticket/api/cron.php(http://yourdomain.com/osticket/api/cron.php)
or
Code:
*/5 * * * * nobody /path/to/php -c /path/to/correct/php.ini /path/to/api/cron.php
Good luck,
I copied this from my phpinfo which I beleive means imap is installed and running
imap
IMAP c-Client Version
2007e
SSL Support
enabled
Kerberos Support
enabled
But when I try and setup fethcing emails its just says "Please wait ... it will take a second" for 10 minutes or more.
Any help appreciated, my OSticket V is 1.7.3
Thanks
