Hello all. First, thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I downloaded osTicket and uploaded it to my server as instructed. The db was also set up how it needed to be set up I believe. I currently am using Parallels Plesk from StartLogic.com for my web hosting and am trying to install osTicket there.
Here's the problem I'm getting. After I upload all the files, I am able to get to the osTicket install page at http://www.builderusergroup.com/support(http://www.builderusergroup.com/support). I fill in all the details on that page and when I hit the install button I get an error and can't proceed. The error page that shows up reads
"Safari can’t open the page “http://www.builderusergroup.com/support/setup/index.php”(http://www.builderusergroup.com/support/setup/index.php”). The error was: “Operation could not be completed. (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error 302.)” (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork) Please choose Report Bugs to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message."
I am trying to view it in Safari on a Mac; however, it doesn't work on the pc or any browser I've tested it in. On a pc, it gives me a, "this page cannot be found" type error. Can it be the hosting environment I'm in? I'm not sure how to configure php configuration or apache configuration files. Could it be an issue with the short tags in php?
By the way, after I get the error message, if I try to go back to the install page, I get the "Welcome to Support Center" page, like it worked. The problem is that when I fill out the form to open a new ticket, I get that error again and it won't display anything.
Any advice? Please help. Thanks.
